What is a Private Key Control Procedure (PKCP)?
The Private Key Control Procedure, otherwise known as Wallet Ownership Proof, confirms control of a self-hosted wallet address.
As a regulated bank, AMINA has to comply with the travel rule, where the sender and the recipient of a transaction need to be identified. For this reason AMINA does not allow 3rd party payments, our clients can only transfer in/out of wallets that belong to them. The PKCP can be performed by sending a micro transfer (provided by AMINA) or by signing a message with your private wallet (provided by AMINA) and returning the signature hash.
